The Death of Social Media or My social life ?

I decided to go on a social media cleansed. I had to do it I kept comparing myself to others. ” I wish I was that skinny” ” When will I be successful” ” How lucky is she” that was me going on Kylie Jenner’s IG most of the time! I needed to get a life, like seriously! So here I’ am trying to follow my advice that I gave myself to stay off all social media. So far I’m so bored I never really knew how much I was on my phone until I noticed others it’s like a completely different world. HELLLLLLOOOOO, IS ANYONE OUT THERE?????

I’ve download some cool apps to entertain myself lets see, there’s minion run, RobinHood not the actual person it’s actually an app to invest and what do I know about investing! Absolutely NADA. I also have some spiritual/ journaling apps, but lets be honest I am mostly on minion run, photos, bank app, and my emails (Idk why I’m even an important person!) Haha . I also occasionally go on the web and go to enews or the shaderoom’s IGs. Sorry I can’t help it but to be curious these damn celebs!

Do you guys want to know how I was a huge fan girl watching the raptors vs philly (on Tv) only because Drake was on screen. He never looked so normal to me. I still love him tho! Let me tell you this social media cleanse is hard. I’m not up to date with anyone’s life I had to text my friend to find out if she got back from Florida. We all know snap, twitter, or IG saw it first!

One of the ups about giving up social media is I’ve been more productive, writing, reading ( The Power of Habit) you guys have to read it, it’s so intriguing this book has become one of my favorite books. I’ve also started working out at home, it’s still the same from going to the gym, my body is SORE AF. I kinda like it tho is that weird ? Are you weird ? Weirdo !

Lets see how far I go !

Xo always

I’ am a Jersey native , born in El Salvador a small little country in Central America. Arrived to the United States, when I was four years old, not knowing where life will take me. Fast Forward eighteen years later, I’m twenty-three living with my boyfriend, his mom, and three brothers. Life can become hectic and extraordinary full of adventures and struggles, emotional and physical pain. Writing has been the number one source where I can express myself fully. Hopefully my writing can inspire you and help, where ever you are, who ever you are I want you to know you’re not alone and you are important. xo Cece
